By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address via Clerk (our authentication provider). We do not collect your name, phone number or physical address unless you contact us directly.

Property images: When you use the staging feature, you upload photos of real estate properties. These images are processed by our AI pipeline and stored in our systems to deliver and display your staging results.

Usage and billing data: We collect information about how you use our service (pages visited, features used, generation history). Billing and payment information is handled directly by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details on our servers.

Technical data: Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, device type and referral source, used for security and service improvement only.

We use your information solely to:

• Provide, operate and improve the PerthStage AI service
• Process your subscription and billing via Stripe
• Deliver staged image outputs and listing captions
• Send service-related communications (billing receipts, technical notices)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations under Australian law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

Property images you upload are used exclusively to generate your virtual staging output. Images are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure to allow you to view and download your results. We do not use your property images to train AI models or for any purpose other than delivering your staging output.

You retain full ownership of any images you upload. By uploading images, you confirm that you have the right to use them for virtual staging purposes.

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure for database and file storage, application hosting, and authentication. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

We apply industry-standard security practices including access controls, role-based permissions and regular security reviews. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is completely secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use trusted third-party services to operate PerthStage AI, including:

• Authentication provider — Account and session management
• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription billing
• Cloud storage and database — Secure storage of your account data and images
• Application hosting — Delivery of the web application
• AI image processing — Images are transmitted solely to generate your staging output and are not used for any other purpose

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We have selected providers that meet appropriate data protection standards.

We retain your account data and generation history for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes (such as transaction records).

Uploaded property images and staging outputs are retained until you delete them or close your account.

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of non-essential communications
